HAYASHI is a sustainable brand, designing plant based, leather alternative bags and accessories inspired by a clean, minimalist aesthetic. Female founded by mother and daughter Kim and Aimée in 2021, Hayashi was devised from an aspiration to offer contemporary, sustainable and enviable products for everyday living.
Kim; with a wealth of knowledge as a leader in the paper world and Aimée; previously an Interior Designer with 10 years experience in the design industry, embarked on a new venture in creating a fresh, ecological brand. Their vision was to design functional leather alternative bags that supported a sustainable lifestyle and were inspired by a clean and minimalist aesthetic.
Hayashi is linked to Heart and Soul Studio by founders and physical location. We share similar eco focused ideals. However, Hayashi operates independently, with only a few key commonalities:

Our founders have Far Eastern heritage. We are based in Poole, Dorset in the UK. We manufacture in several Far Eastern locations. Hayashi is a global brand without boundaries.
Ethos
Both entities have a focus on sustainable products and operations. We are constantly striving to be better.
Creativity
Design is at the heart of our businesses. Our talented team have worked tirelessly to produce two collections of impeccably stylish, leather alternative bags and everyday use items. Quite the juxtaposition of a Christmas cracker which is a one time celebratory item.
